After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone our Carols & Cocktails fundraiser for Hearts in Harmony until next year.

We know the holidays can be a busy season for all. We hope to reschedule this event for a less hectic time of year, ensuring the greatest success in gathering support for this meaningful program.

First launched in 2017, Hearts in Harmony is a weekly, hour-long community singing workshop at The Life Link Club House offered to individuals experiencing homelessness. We at the Desert Chorale believe in the healing power of music and the great impact of this program within our community. Led by Desert Chorale vocal artist Sarah Nickerson and pianist Holly Mead, participants help choose songs, create programs, and perform music as an ensemble. This social-service program brings the healing power of music to those experiencing homelessness, substance abuse disorders, and life transitions. The group is open to anyone receiving services at The Life Link regardless of musical experience and allows participants to build self-esteem, increase their self-confidence, create personal connections, and express themselves through music.
