They add your voice to the rising chorus of donors who wish to assure the strength and vitality of the Chorale for many years to come.
Benefits of Encore Society membership:
- Recognition in the Summer and Winter Festival program books
- Invitation to the annual Encore Society luncheon
Ways to Give
Planned giving, or legacy giving, refers to the tools and techniques by which you make a charitable gift during or after your lifetime. Your tax situation may allow you to benefit more as you give more. You can even give a gift that gives back to you. Planned giving techniques can be personalized and flexible; they can be modified and changed along the way or remain permanent.
Some of the ways you can give to join the Encore Society:
- Bequests through your will
- Life Insurance Policies
- Employer Sponsored Retirement Plans (e.g. 401k, Simple IRA, SEP IRA, 403b, or Profit-Sharing Plans)
- Personal Annuities or IRAs
- Individual Investment or Savings Accounts
- Charitable Lead Trusts or Remainder Trusts

“The Chorale has been an important part of my life for 25 years. As a former Board Member and a home host for many singers, my association with the Chorale has brought Ellie and me so many good friends. It is a high priority to support not just the present, but also the future of the Desert Chorale.”
“When my husband and I made our wills, we dedicated a percentage of our total Estate available to give to charitable organizations, and then we ranked them—the Chorale is at the top of the list of these organizations. We did this to perpetuate [the Founder’s] legacy, for the well-being of the singers, and the well-being of the listeners.”
“Santa Fe is our second home, and we wanted to support the Santa Fe Desert Chorale in our plans… we recognize that Artistic Director Joshua Habermann’s expertise and the quality of the administrative leadership combine to make the Santa Fe Desert Chorale one of the premier musical groups in America.”
