Conductor: Joshua Habermann, Music Director, SFDC
Program Sponsor: Stephen and Jane Hochberg
The first annual Santa Fe Sings! sold out with 125 participants ranging in age from 8th graders to octogenarians joining in fellowship and joyful music making. This year’s chorus will again be open to singers of all backgrounds who will come together to sing selections spanning the full choral canon as well as the unique heritage of New Mexico.
Santa Fe Sings! will take place on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 from 10am to 3pm at The United Church of Santa Fe (1804 Arroyo Chamiso, Santa Fe, NM 87505). The goal of the day is to cultivate and encourage a joy for singing, and also nurture singers’ confidence and choral leadership skills to benefit ensembles in our community. This year’s event will conclude with a free showcase for friends and family (information on seating reservations for showcase to follow).
The ticket fee includes music, which will be sent via email for advanced preparation, and given in hard copies on the day of the sing. Participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch; beverages will be provided by the SFDC.
Capacity is limited, and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will close April 21st, 2017– so don’t delay!
